The Rick Gomez Park is the first new park in the city in over 25 years. The park was dedicated on January 22, 2022. Named in honor of longtime resident Rick Gomez who was a coach and Parks & Recreation Commissioner. 

 The park follows a baseball themed concept, with interactive elements for a stadium type feel.
